BaBa Blankets
Our African women’s collective first began sewing BaBa Blankets™ in June of 2000. We were brought together by E. Aminata Brown, an African-American woman who was a full-time resident in Ghana. When Aminata met us, we were a group of young women who shared the common experience of fleeing our rural towns and villages to become load-carriers, or “kaya yo", in Accra’s big city markets. Our mission is to create inspiring cultural works that provide sustainable income and well-deserved development opportunities for African women & girls.

O.B.A. (Original Bed Art)
Quilts were once full purpose objects of warmth, used for beds and curling up by a warm fire on a cold night. Today quilts still adorn our beds but have also shifted into the spotlight as decorative art. At O.B.A. Quilts (Original Bed Art) you will find only the finest, custom made quilts (all handcrafted). When you purchase O.B.A. you are not only purchasing something to cherish and pass on to your children and their children but also a wonderful, original piece of art that you can show off to your family, friends and associates.

Providers' Resource Clearinghouse (PRC) was opened in 1993 by a group of community leaders from the business, faith and nonprofit sectors who wanted to bridge the gap between struggling human-service providers and businesses seeking to serve the community through in-kind giving.
